NYC's LGBTQ+ running club, founded in 1979, runs a big, friendly loop of Central Park every Saturday. Newcomers and visitors are welcome, walkers too, and afterwards there's a light breakfast social in the basement of Rutgers Church. On the second Saturday of each month it's a Women's Fun Run. An easy way to meet queer runners.
